Why a page is published
A page must answer a distinct customer question or support a real service decision. We do not publish a new URL merely to repeat another page with a different keyword. Service pages own service intent, guides explain larger decisions, blog articles address narrower symptoms and town pages add location-specific coverage details.
Regional pages without doorway duplication
Town pages are limited to communities represented in the service-area directory. Each includes its own coverage note, nearby communities and local questions while linking to central service pages. We do not multiply every service by every town or create near-duplicate regional domains.
Competitor and trademark pages
Company pages use business names only to answer a genuine navigational or comparison query and identify the subject of independent research. Each page discloses non-affiliation, links to the business or an identified business source, dates the review and separates provider-published claims from independently verifiable facts. Services, reviews, cost and alternatives sections explain how to research the decision and request another option; they do not impersonate the searched company. We do not copy competitor logos, photographs, reviews, star ratings or sales copy, imply authorization, or use competitor names in our own business identity.
How pages are researched, reviewed and corrected
Every page is researched from primary and manufacturer sources, reviewed for accuracy, safety limits and internal consistency before it is published, and corrected when an error is reported or a fact changes. Pages carry an editorial review date, and corrections are made to the published page rather than logged and forgotten.
Sources and verification
Safety statements are checked against applicable manufacturer instructions and primary or authoritative guidance such as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, municipal permit information and relevant Door & Access Systems Manufacturers Association technical documents. Product specifications are attributed to the exact manufacturer and model when used.
Drafting and publication controls
Research and editing software may help organize topics, compare page structure and locate repetition. A page is not publishable merely because a draft exists. Claims, links, local relevance, safety limits, metadata, internal links and visible structured information are checked before release. We do not publish unsupervised bulk text or synthetic customer experiences.
What the content can and cannot do
Articles explain symptoms, terminology, decision factors and questions to ask. They do not remotely diagnose a door, tell a reader to adjust spring or cable hardware, or replace an on-site inspection. When several failures can create the same symptom, we say so.
Pricing and commercial claims
We do not publish fabricated starting prices, fake discounts, arrival guarantees, warranty promises, certifications, customer projects or review scores. Cost explanations identify the factors that change scope. Product availability, price, appointment timing and warranty terms must be confirmed for the actual project.
Review, corrections and authorship
Pages show an editorial review date when published or materially checked. To report an error, use the contact form, choose “Not sure,” and begin the details field with “Content correction.” Content is published by Burlington Garage Door Repair as an organization; we do not attach invented technician biographies or credentials.
